Fishing magazines for Carp

Carp Fishing News began as a company producing fishing magazines from the angling roots of its directors - Chris Ball, Kevin Clifford and Tim Paisley who had carp fished long before they became involved in publishing angling magazines. Tim initially started by publishing the Carp Society's magazine, Carp Fisher, before moving on to his own magazine called Carpworld - the first carp fishing magazine available to the public. This was followed by Big Fish World and Specialist Angling World when Kevin came involved as the editor. In about 1994 Tim, Kevin and their friend Chris Ball decided to break the mould and bring out a carp fishing weekly magazine that would challenge the two weekly newspapers of Angling Times and Angler's Mail. This proved to be a considerable success and many other carp magazines, such as Crafty Carper, Total Carp and Advanced Carp Fishing followed in their wake.
